According to CEF WW1 file Antoine enlisted 12 Nov 1914 and served 20 Months in France, during which time he was wounded (Jan 17, 1917 and 9 Apr 1917) and with added loss of sight in one eye and other health problems associated with his war service was discharged on medical grounds effective 1 May 1918. Following his death 11 October 1918, dependent allowances were paid to his wife for a period of several years even after her remarriage.
