Other info from Nazareth House orphanage, Rednal, Birmingham to the effect that the newly widowed Mrs. Johnson who brought her to the home in June 1920 had then stated “that she was a 2 year old when she was adopted and that her real mother’s name was “Julia Tyser””, with no mention to her birth father. Mr. & Mrs. Johnson, who had adopted Dorothy when she was two years of age and, was returned to the Nazareth House, Birmingham in June 1920 after the death of her adopted father, making her approx. 17+ at the time she immigrated to Canada
